Irish Travel Agents Association Announces Costa Daurada as Host Destination for ITAA Annual Conference 2026
The Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA) has announced that its Annual Conference 2026 will take place in Catalonia, on Spain’s stunning Costa Daurada, from 1st to 4th October 2026, bringing together travel professionals from across Ireland for four days of networking and industry insights.
The conference is being hosted in partnership with the Catalan Tourist Board, Costa Daurada tourism partners and the Spanish Tourist Office in Dublin and will be based at the Blaumar Hotel in Salou. Delegates will have the opportunity to experience the rich tourism offering of the Costa Daurada region while participating in a comprehensive programme of conference sessions, supplier networking, destination experiences and social gatherings.
The annual conference is one of the most important events in the Irish travel trade calendar, providing travel agents and industry partners a platform to discuss emerging trends, challenges and opportunities shaping the future of travel and the Irish travel industry.
The conference programme will include a dedicated conference and supplier networking day, destination experiences across the Costa Daurada, a gala dinner, and a series of excursions highlighting the cultural, gastronomic and tourism attractions of Salou, Cambrils and Vila-seca La Pineda. Delegates will also have opportunities to experience some of the region’s leading attractions, including Infinitum Golf and PortAventura World.

Experiencing the destination through participating in the local excursions is an integral part of the conference programme whilst early arrivals will also have the opportunity to play a round of golf at Infinitum Golf Course one of the most prestigious golf courses in the region or experience the thrills of PortAventura World theme park. Delegates will have a choice of three local excursions on the Saturday – a visit to Poblet, Espluga de Francoli caves, a boat trip from Cambrils or a visit to Reus Modernista / Tarragona Romana.
