The Travel Extra Travel Journalist of the Year 2023 Awards are delighted to confirm Visit Valencia and the Spanish Tourism Office (Ireland) as co-sponsors of the Awards Ceremony taking place on Friday, 26th January 2024 in the Thomas Prior Hall, Ballsbridge Clayton Hotel, Dublin.
This year there are ten award categories plus the overall award. For each category there is a substantial prize of a holiday. The overall winner, chosen from the 10 category winners, will receive an additional holiday prize sponsored by Visit Valencia and the Spanish Tourism Office (Ireland).
Entries are invited for work published or broadcast in the year 2023 in the following categories:
o Best Home market (Ireland)
o Best Northern Ireland
o Best Long Haul
o Best Short Haul (including Sun holidays & City Breaks)
o Best Adventure
o Best Skiing
o Best Digital Media
o Best Broadcasting
o Best Sustainable Travel (New category)
o The Gerry O’Hare Memorial Award for Best Newcomer Journalist
