In the tradition of Amblin Classics where fantastical events occur in the most unexpected places, Jack Black and two-time academy award winner Cate Blanchett star in, THE HOUSE WITH A CLOCK IN ITS WALLS.

The magical adventure tells the spine-tingling tale of 10-year-old Lewis (Owen Vaccaro) who goes to live with his uncle in a creaky old house with a mysterious tick-tocking heart. But his new town’s sleepy façade jolts to life with a secret world of warlocks and witches when Lewis accidentally awakens the dead.

Directed by Eli Roth the film stars Jack Black (Jumanji:Welcome to the Jungle, School of Rock) as the mysterious warlock Jonathan Barnavelt, Cate Blanchett (Ocean’s 8, THOR: Ragnarok) as Mrs. Zimmerman, the powerful witch next door, Owen Vaccaro (Daddy’s Home) as the young hero Lewis Barnavelt and Kyle Maclachlan (Twins Peaks) as the villainous Isaac Izard.

Based on John Bellairs’ spell-binding children’s book, The House with the Clock in its walls is released in Ireland on 21 SEPTEMBER 2018.
