Dublin Film Critics Circle Awards at DIFF 2023 Announced

Members of the Dublin Film Critics Circle have, for the 17th year, announced their picks for Best Film, Best Director, Best Irish Film, Best Documentary and Best Performances from the Dublin International Film Festival 2023 programme. The awards were once again supported by Limelight Communications.  Irish filmmakers were present at Generator in Smithfield, Dublin, to accept their awards, with video messages from international winners also shown at the ceremony.

Wildcard Distribution Releases Trailer to Celebrate 10th Birthday

The Irish film distributor Wildcard Distribution has released a trailer to celebrate its 10th birthday. The trailer takes a look back over the last decade with highlights from a selection of the films that the distributor brought to cinemas including the IFTA Best Film winners Michael Inside, Black 47 and Wolfwalkers as well as Box Office hits The Young Offenders, Deadly Cuts, and Cardboard Gangsters. The trailer also takes a look forward to upcoming releases for 2023 including Lakelands and Sunlight, both of which have their UK premieres this week at the Glasgow Film Festival.
