Life’s A Breeze opens in Irish cinemas July 19th

Lance Daly’s Life’s A Breeze is a feel-good ‘recession comedy’ about a family struggling to stay afloat and stay together through hard times in Ireland.  Unemployed slacker Colm, his aging mother Nan and his niece Emma must overcome their differences to lead their family in a race against time to find a lost fortune.  Who said life’s a breeze?


LifesABreezePartySmallThe film showcases a host of Irish acting talent including Pat Shortt and Fionnula Flanagan, who recently starred together in The Guard. They are joined in the film by Eva Birthistle, Gerry McCann, Philip Judge, Lesley Conroy, Peter Coonan, Brian Gleeson, Paul Ronan, and a sparkling performance from newcomer Kelly Thornton. The film also features cameos from Ryan Tubridy and Joe Duffy.  Life’s A Breeze had its World Premiere at the Galway Film Fleadh on July 12th.  Kelly Thornton won the Bingham Ray New Talent award at the Film Fleadh for her performance in the film.
